Trueball Tech: Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 centers everything on the ball including how it moves and how players use it. First touch and sublime control are what set certain players apart from others. The ability to not only read a pass, but to be one step ahead and to know what is needed to gain yards on an encroaching defender. Trueball Tech allows the player to trap or knock on a pass using the analogue stick with detailed bar-centric physics determining the weight shift of the player and the height and speed of the pass, as to how the player’s body will automatically shape to receive it. The Pro Evolution Soccer series has long since treated the ball as an individual entity, allowing the player huge amounts of freedom to pass into space, run on to a knocked-on counter, or produces short triangular passes to make space. Trueball Tech adds even more freedom, with full 360-degree control within several yards around the player and the ability to shield the ball from opposing players, use deft controls to wrong-foot them, and intuitive methods to master close control.

Motion Animation Stability System (M.A.S.S.): The physical combat between players is a vital part of a match, and the new M.A.S.S. component simulates the bodily contact between multiple players within tailored animations that segue seamlessly into each other. Rather than a series of preset animations that occur under specific circumstances, M.A.S.S. reacts instantly to any situation, with the reaction of a fouled player entirely dependent on the direction and force with which they are tackled. Dependent on factors such as their size and power, players will stumble but instantly recover if clipped, barge others off the ball, and use their stature to block players from possession. The integration of the M.A.S.S. element has also facilitated new advances in one-on-one situations. The individual battles between key players can determine the outcome of a match, so particular emphasis has been made on such battles in Pro Evolution Soccer 2014.

Almost all DLC for the game is now permanently reduced to half the original price. Additionally, for those who didn’t experience the incredible story expansions for Lightning, Snow and Sazh, the various story-based episodes and all the reduced individual add-ons have been bundled into one DLC pack too.

The new update fixes screen tearing issues that some people have been experiencing and improves frame rate which makes squashing zombies super smooth. The patch also fixes a number of smaller issues.

The Apocalypse Pack includes two awesome cars available in all game modes, plus an extra Slaughter Mode map – the Military Base.

Both of the new cars are guest appearances from EXOR Studios’ earlier project – D.I.P.R.I.P., which was a multi player car combat game released in 2008 as a free Source Engine mod. The first of the two is called the “Chaos 126p” and it’s a small and nimble monster truck (as far as monster trucks can be small, anyway). It’s very fast and handles incredibly well in tight corners. The second one is a huge custom made truck with jet engine exhausts called the “Auroch”. It can ram through anything on it’s path, has lot’s of nitro and can carry up to 10 passengers in the Story Mode.

The development team at The Farm 51 have been working around the clock to ensure that the game is packed full of unique gameplay. It will feature a single player campaign, multiplayer battle arenas and can now reveal it will also feature a survival cooperation mode for the most impactful, action adventure game. The first person shooter experience has been combined with puzzle solving exploration so that players can immerse themselves in the role of the adventurer Quatermain.

This is our most ambitious game to date and we’re working very closely alongside The Farm 51 to make sure that Deadfall Adventures provides players with seamless action and puzzle-solving experience,” said Reinhard Pollice at Nordic Games. “Holding back the game’s release until September is the right decision for us to ensure that the content included offers the greatest value for players, which it certainly will.”

Adding the new survival cooperation mode adds even more content to the game which is always going to be a bonus for players,” said Wojciech Pazdur Development Director at Farm 51. “The new mode will be both challenging and engaging and players will be able to jump straight into the game toget the best of the action.”

Assuming the role of adventurer Quatermain, players will encounter fiendish puzzles, deadly traps and stunning set pieces, making this one of the greatest adventures ever told – let alone played.
