Tomrrow is one of my big exams in GCSE ( Equiv to matric -ish), Its Chem/Bio/Phys all in one. I am so damn nervous for this one, It took my about three days to understand off by heart the formation of stars and there life cycle!

Anyone else here got any exams? And, are exams in SA held in July like Eng, or in December, when It's the beginning of the summer holiday?

thats funny you sound like me , never went to a single afrikaans class in matric , and still cant speak a word of it!

when i saw afrikaans questions i would look for one word in the question and find it in the paragraph , write the 4 lines before and 4 lines after the word!

8 line answers for 1 mark!

thank god i finished my BSc Honours exams on 22 May :P

I'm glad coz I heard on the radio that many of the matric exams were cancelled with the teacher strike!!My boy, don't be glad. I promise you YOU WILL make up for them. I remember last year with all the power cuts in Cape Town, UCT was practically non functional and my homie was real happy about that. What was the repercussion? Planned school holidays were halved!

I'm in a private school so we still go to school, but the schools been threatened by the unions to close down, so for some reason we have to go to school in casual clothes
