Powers help in Mass Effect 3

I don't know how it happened but I had the slam power that has now been replaced by the Fortification power.

How do I get my slam power back?

Ah, this happened to me with Reave on one playthrough.

Go to the Med Bay, there's machine at the back-right that you can use - next to the AI core door - and re-assign Shep's powers.

You should be able to reassign Slam.

I can't get it back.

There are two beds, with the one I can reset all my powers to 0 and with the other one I can only buy Fortification or Barrier.

Slam is nowhere to be seen.

Ah, that must be because you don't have Javik and the From Ashes DLC.

That sucks, because you won't be able to get it again unless you buy the DLC and talk to him on the ship.

It's a pretty useless mission, but Javik is awesome and a very powerful squadmate. Also, he significantly adds to the game with his conversations, information about the Protheans and varies species histories, and general crew conversations. It should aways have been in the game.

What class are you playing? I could suggest another power that would work very well with whichever class you have chosen.

I do have the DLC and have spoken to him...... I have done the DLC mission.

I did have Slam but it is just gone now.

Very strange.

It's a corrupt save bokka, there is nothing more you can do. When you start a new playthrough, Slam should be available again.

It happened to me with Barrier.

Okay, then you must just keep talking to him after missions or significant events and use him on one or two missions. Eventually you'll unlock it again and be able to assign it from the med-bay.

Yes but if Slam was already unlocked through conversation, he won't get the same conversation again. He will need to have the same conversation in the next playthrough.
