1000G Club: The Witcher2
Yes, I've done it.
Dark difficulty. Three words: Not that bad.
Seriously, Dark was a breeze for me once I learned that Quen is essentially Godmode and it's not always the best choice to go in head first screaming THIS IS PONTAR VALLEY.
The number of missables are insane and you actually need to know of some of them before hand otherwise you WILL miss them. On my first playthrough I missed 4 achievements on Roche's path and didn't do enough quests to get to level 35. I finished my second on Dark and then proceeded to get everything I missed in about one hour. It's surprising how quickly the game goes if you skip all the conversations and side-quests.
Anyone else have it or are going for it?Last edited by MG THABO; 05-05-2012 at 01:01 PM.

970 GS would be pretty easy with thorough multiple playthroughs. Which is all I will get really. Played at least 200 games of Poker, had 4 of a kind at least 50 times. Every time I did, and tried to roll again, my opponent would resign. There has to be a glitch in this thing.
Went Swordsman/Magic for my normal run. Going the Swordsman/Alchemy path for my 'Dark' run.

Nah just Quen is fine I think, depending on how many points you have to spare if you wish to concentrate on swordsmanship. Just make plenty of Swallows too and you'll be fine.
Quen will hurt your attackers so it will buy you some time too. I sided with Iorveth for my Dark run and there where some tricky spots like the Harpy cave and defending Vergen but overall I was fine. I also strolled into a room that had like 20 soldiers. That was a bad idea. Quen's not gonna help you much in such a situation sadly.
