    Angry Power supply not compatible!

    Oh happy days! I just got my Xbox! And guess what... the power supply isn't incompatible. Seems they sent me an Arcade console that isn't compatible with the Pro power supply... who knew. Make sure you look out for this!!!

    They said they'll send me a new power supply next week... like they said they'd replace my Xbox "next week" and it took two months.

    I have the same problem, you need the PSU with the metal shield. Pro and Arcade PSU don't differ, the we currently have replaced the ones with the metal shield.

    So the best we can do is be on the look-out when our consoles are delivered? Is it an Xbox age (2007 vs 2008) problem, not Pro vs Arcade issue then?

    So the procedure is, get a ref number. Fax all info including slip to Powercare.
    They deliver a new console. What happens to the old RROD console?

    After two years I got my first RROD last night while playing Batman. Just sent in the forms to powercare by email. Lets see how long I have to wait.
