Xbox Live SA conspiracy theory
Hey there, evrwan.
i was sittin in my car thinking about this whole Xbox live in south africa debacle, and what i had to do to create my account.
I had to put in a legit UK postal code - i had to go on the internet and search for a postal code in the UK. can't even remember where i "live" . anyways.
my theory is, they are too lazy to type in all of the south african postal codes.
as South African Postal Codes proves, there's a crapload.
and that's my theory. athankew.

Dude, have you even seen the UK's Postal codes!?! for example, my code would be OL12 7TY for my house, if you lived literally right across the road from me you would be OL12 7TR, another example would be a 2 houses on a corner with a street between us, 1 would be OL12 7TW and right across OL12 7TS!
It's fookin crazy shiz up there! ( do this with about 25mil. homes.... )

A more likely conspiracy theory is this.
We pay for live anyway. They take our money.
Why spend money to implement it here when they get more anyway.
Someone did the math and realized that the cost of implementing/maintaining XBL here isn't enough to justify the users they'd get as a result.
So no live. Not in a country where broadband penetration is so low. (and it's a small population, only 60mil!).
